What Happened to the Baby Duck?

My daughter has a gosling with almost the same problem. She has a soft spot for things with problems. Do I tell her to put it down or is there a viable solution?

What I am doing is massaging the duck's neck at night maybe it will go straight. I am still trying to think of a soft splint I could put on her neck which I think might work. They did it when my daughter was born. She had deformed hips and her legs were a mess. She wore casts from two weeks old until six months than braces. Not that I am comparing my daughter to a duck but it worked. You would never know Lisa had a problem, by one year old everything was normal.

The duck is still eating, drinking, pooping and sleeping. I guess I am like your daughter and other people on this board I dislike seeing a little critter that isn't right and as long as she seems happy I will do what I can. The duck just lays there and lets me rub her neck.

Saddlebum mentioned a site where a woman massages animals to help them out. I haven't yet a chance to visit the site but I will do that and look into similar sites today or tomorrow.

Thanks for asking and I will post on her conditon in a week!

I think you may have hit on a great idea. I am going to try it tonight after our therapy session. THANKS SO MUCH!

Who said we don't have a few geniuses on the board!!

Good Idea. Especially with winter here.
