For those of youse what ain't retired yet - well get ready, the fun's just startin! See, men work OUT til they retire IN. In includes "om ,y recliner" "in the way" "in the road" "in my hair" and any other ins that come out.
For decades we set things up handy, had them convinced they belonged in the home, right? Trouble is, that implies that we don't! And when you retire, it's payback time!
You know how picky you fellas get when somebody moves that oil can of old spark plugs off its perch inside your old jacket on the tractor seat? Well after wimmenfolks spend 30-40 years raising kids and doing laundry and washing our shorts, they CAN get real personal about stuff around the house too! And it's not like you can expect to get up, get served breakfast, plunk yer grubby sox on the table and act like you're still some dang CEO along with everything else, nosirree!!! You'll be on their turf then, so plan ahead. I suggest you BOTH retire at once and get the big adjustments over early. Who knows? In a year or so, you might be compatible enough to dare show yer faces around town again! :)

When do the wimmenfolks retire? Seems as though the men retire and the women still have to keep on cooking and cleaning and taking care of their grumpy old men. Yes, you have raised an interesting point. Retire together. Nightie night.
