Well ya all, did cha go out and have a good time. What did cha all dress up as, and what all did cha do. I went as a witch and went with my daughter and grandchildren. They had a blast seeing grandma going and having fun with them.

I do a neighborhood hay ride just a pickup truck and a construction trailer with hay bales to sit on. Kids love it and we can get done in about 2 hours. Houses are pretty spread apart.

5 year old harry potter
3 year old as spider man.

Me I went as a Jehovah Witness - as soon as the kids got their candy I would introduce myself and say now that you are at the door....

3 of my neighbors had shocked faces they thought I was for real - until I told them it was just a joke....

The best part was that I did not have to dress up at all....

We only had one, and when he found out that I was leaving for work, he had a fit until they hurried over to show uncle ron his outfit!(Sponge bob is really wearing thin around this house)
Here is my 5 year old super farmer, great nephew, Cody

My grandson went as a bumblebee - he didn't like it much (well, he was a good sport considering) but then he hates shoes etc anyway.

I gotta tell you a farm scare that happened before we had electricity years ago. Our neighbor boys decided to go trick-r-treating at our place and they got tricked. They had gunny-sack costumes and old raggety hats. So here they walked up the driveway, they noticed the only lights in the barn and heard the separator in the basement, otherwise it was pretty dark, so they sorta knew the folks were both busy doing chores. But they knocked on the screen door anyway. and knocked again. Finally they were about to give up when the screen door creaked open and a huge hand came out and lifted a hat right off their head! Boy, they took off running! i think they still are.
What they didn't know was that grampa was staying with us that nite - he's slow but he gets the job done :)

A lady at my sons daycare dressed up as a witch. They said it scared him and a few others bad. They scarred my child for life! :^) At every house we stopped tonight, he said "no witch, no witch!" He's just 2.

That is so sad. You would have thought the lady at the day care center would have dressed in something different. Some people just don't think.
I hope next year will be better for him.

I just flew around the house on my broom. We are so far out in the country that this is the first year in ages no trick or treaters, heck if I was a kid I wouldn't want to come down the dirt road either. There is not one street light and last week was the first time I drove at night to run to the store. I didn't realize it was so dark. I told Dennis that he needs a flashlight in his truck, he said he has one but you have to plug it into the lighter. That would really work out great if I had a flat tire, I wonder how long I can get an extension cord for that light?? LOL I always carry a flashlight in the car just in case. But since my car is still broken I have to use the truck.
