Well my stray was in her bed last night at about eleven. I went outside to sit with her awhile. This morning I saw her running in the pasture. Went out to freeze my tush off, I mean feed the critters and didn't see hide nor hair of her. I checked down the road nothing. So if she doesn't come back do I post "Lost Lost Dog that Was Found Lost", notice. I know Dennis didn't do anything to her he is still sleeping. Sure hope S&S weren't around last night to keep him up all night. I will keep you all posted about Stray. Now I think I better go down to the barn and check out the hayloft for those two hussies and than look some more for Stray!!! To be continued..............

Maybe she's what we used to call a hobo. One of those dogs that didn't belong to anyone but seemed to live with every one for about two days a month. The free spirited sort. If she knows you have a barn she's welcome to hide in, she'll be back to have her first litter of pups there. And yes, I know Punchy posted that follow up (well, now I do anyhow.) and is he in trouble.

I didn't know you were stuck, I mean married to Punchy. Heck I would have sent a post right direct to you. I will remember that for in the future. Us wimmen have to stick together.

Thanks for making me feel better about the stray. I had a dog once that was as skinny as could be, looked like I never fed him. Anyway at least once a month he would run off and I would get a call from someone saying they found him. They figured since he was so skinny he was starving, seems these people always feed him roasts, steak, chops. I know that was why the crazy thing ran away. Always got him back. I just hope that if Stray has pups she sure doesn't stray back here!!!!!!!

My Mama has a cat named Micky. he's a hugely fat neutered male burmese. (This cat is so fat he looks like a footstool when he lays on the floor.) Every time she lets him outside he goes to the neighbors and mooches food.(They thought he was a stray! At that size??!! Sheesh what were they thinking?) Some animals are just real sociable like that. Seems more than a need for food drives it. If she comes back and has puppies, call the local ASPCA. They will take Mom and Pups, fix them all and find a good home for them.
As for Punchy, well, we all have our crosses to bare don't we. At least I don't need a height extention on the toilet seat to keep my crown jewels dry. (Tit for tat, Punchy.):P

I hope your pup comes back, because I got a good name for her/him.BTW,is it a her or a him? Anyway I was thinking about Tippy for name, because of the white tip on his/her tail.

Stray probably went home after getting it's belly full and a good rest. Or it might have gone to look for a new place where it could sleep in the house.

Well now that you put the guilt trip on me LOL. Had we not had three critters, 5 peeps, and 3 ducks one being crooked I would have let her sleep inside.

I did drive hither and yon and didn't even spot her. I will just wait and see what happens. I am just wondering what to do if someone calls and says it is their dog. Have to get those posters down.

Just tell them that he was there, but went looking for better pastures. At least they will have a starting point when looking for their pup. If he comes back you will already have the owners name.
Good luck to you and stray.

Wasn't trying to put the guilt trip on you.
