I'd try Yahoo groups, believe theres a Jacobsen group there.I been tinkering old mowers etc for yrs, couple hints.Do to extreme rarity of parts, big money isn;t there for these units. This is one field of collectin/restorin that is fueled only by the love of old iron, most collectors in this field are low budget/weekend wrenchers that just enjoy a favorite make/model.A Chief if more or less complete should generate some interest as they were one of the earlier real"tractors" as opposed to mowers/cultivators.

If it still runs it's worth restoring. If it doesn't, find some fool on ebay to buy it. There's a website out there that has different makes of tractors an what they're worth. Can't remeber it though, sorry.
