There's two kinds of people in this world....complicaters and simplifiers. The guy that invented algebra was a complicater...the guy who invented velcro was a simplifier. There is ALWAYS a simple solution to any problem.

Wait a second, he was talking about algebra, i.e. the science of equations, not arithmetics, i.e. the science of numbers (addition, substraction, multiplication, and division). Algebra is in fact a complicated science. Well, I just want to pull somebody's leg here.

WallSal55-- from a complex woman--ROFL or cry w/me on this one!    Posted 11-14-2002 at 06:34:38       [Reply]  [No Email]
No shades of Gray? Like if two fellers are after
ya at the same time? Or them hussies are after
one feller at a time?
Now that's complicated. That's where the algebra can come in handy--deductive reasoning. I don't
know if Velcro can come in handy then. (?)
Seems to me there are shades of gray at times,
I just pray that time works them all out to where
we see the simple or right solution, and not force
an easy one like Tom A said.
Thanks Tom for that insight! I have had a very
complicated year and it's not over yet.

But even algebra or trig or calculus boil down to 4 basic things...addition-subtraction-multiplication-division....( and no fella has ever had a problem with more than one hussie after 'em that I know of)

There are only 10 kinds of people in this world: those who understand binary
and those who don't.

Gez...I think that adds up to 2 also...riddlers all.

Ten kinds ay? :)

but just as many times as not, the simple answer is the wrong one!

Some problems just can't be simplified and we hurt ourselves when we try to force an easy answer.

I guess this means I'm a complicater! shooooot.
Tom

You don't have to force an easy answer. It's the one bittin you on the butt. I didn't say complicator's were evil!

Some folks never see the simple things ie:
You are lost in a blizzard, alone, half frozen you finally stumble upon a small cabin.Inside you find a kerosene lantern,a fire place and a wood cookstove with a pot of cold soup on it.Checking your pockets you find you only have one match.Being an intelligent and logical personm, what do you light first?

All of them.
