How to remove water stains from unfinished logs

I live in a log home and my logs are not covered with anything. The other night we had heavy rain {we are in the process of reshingling the roof} and we had quite a few leaks, the water was running down the logs and now they have water stains. How do you remove water stains on unfinished wood.

Thanks
Natalie

Oxalic acid a white crystalline powder commonly called wood bleach. Most hardware stores should carry it. Follow the directions carefully.

One solution is Permachink. They also have products for staining, sealing, chinking, "bug proofing", etc.
Permachink Wood Renew

We're finishing up a log home in Colorado, and we've used Permachink Energy Seal, Borate and stains.

Old fashioned remedy for every stain - hot water, bleach and elbow grease :)
