I just had to share this, just came out today, fresh from the oven.
We won't have to seat in front of the tv for these games, just get in the car and seat at the stadium , in the flesh:-)
Am I making a big thing out of this??

Patria, If a load or two of snow would make them feel at home, I'll try to arrange delivery if you will trade me an evening on that beach, while all of you are at the game!!
Good luck, I hope you get to go, enjoy

Ron, you mean it like a joke but you're not too far from what you could actually do in terms of bringing us some snow.

Back in the 1930's women received the 'right' to vote here in the island; Felisa Rincon De Gautier had campaigned vigorously for this. In 1948 she became the mayor of San Juan. She was re-elected four more times. When she came back to PR from one of her trips to the states, she was giving a press confference and told the reporters how she adored the snow, and one of them made a coment that "we can't have it all", to what she answered "oh yes, we can, and we will".
Next christmas she had the most beautiful landscape you can ever imagine, she had some company arrainged a ground for skating-like, and behind the bushes ice plants for retaining cold. When all this was set cold and ready, she brought vans and vans of snow from Montana, some are still arguing it was from Canada, hehe.
So she gave the kids from PR a memorable day. Of course she had been advising the parents to bring the kids with long pants, and sweaters if they wanted to play in 'the snow', she gave each and everyone of them a pair of light gloves at the entrance of the park. This was around 1956.

So go ahead Ron and get the vans ready, i'll have your camping site nice and tidy for you. With or Without Utilities?

I hope you get to see them Patria - major league stuff is kinda expensive though. We got to see the Dodgers once and that was fun.
In summertime i cheer for the local country team where i know most of the players and i can still park close enough for a foul ball to bust my windshield - sitting there all relaxed and everybody yells at once - "Get that ball!!" :)

I'm counting on my brother for the tickets, like always. He gets them from the company he works in.
We'll see what happens, the proposal still hasn't been finalized. We have our fingers crossed.Patria

There was talk for a while about them playing in Fenway Park. I might have even gone to Boston to see that.
