Patria, so sorry about your loosing your mother this year, and with your health being an issue, you have been in my thoughts. I hope you can let people help you with the work of maintaining the season. This will be my third Christmas without Mother, and let me tell you that they DO get easier. The first was most difficult. At times it felt like we were just going through the motions--very fake, very empty, very strange. But there were tears, stories, AND laughter, and new ways of doing things. I wish I could help more than just saying I will pray for you and your family. Dios la bendiga, amiga mio.

I'm sorry for your great loss. My mother passed away in 1996. I still think about her almost every day.

we lost my mom ,dad, an mom in law all in the last four years, so i know what you are going thru an my heart goes out to you , not a day goes by that i don,t think about them an wish i had a chance to do things all over again , one things i would do is spend more time with them, i think thats the one thing that bothers me the most ,you figure they will be here forever an one day there gone, god bless you patria , an hope christmas will still be special for you , with the rest of your family an remembering your mom with them. later ger

I'm sorry for your loss ger, I know how you feel.
But you know? I'm strong as you can find.
I'll be ok. I'm planning this christmas and among the things I'll do is Old Sarge's Jesus cake:-)
Great idea!
Thanks ger
Hope all is well for you and your family.
Take Care
