To keep squirrels or rabbits from eating your garden, mix up the following and pour into a hand-held sprayers and liberally spray all your plants.

2 tbsp of cayenne pepper
2 tbsp of Tobasco sauce
2 tbsp of chili powder
1 tbsp of Murphy's Oil Soap
1 quart of warm water
Mix together and spray

Also - for worms on plants - put cayenne pepper in a nylon stocking and shake like Sevin dust. They won't touch it.

Did this mixture work on your melons?

For cats I just found out this works great.
I made a kitty box with sand near the latrine area
of my garden. I transfered a little kitty poop to
the sand (yuk!) and now they (2 orange tabbys of ours) seem to prefer the box.
