Need pond dug out

and a new water tank installed about .5 acre ,alot
of silt though. anybody have this type of work done lately? how much, wondering how much im looking at.

In the old days they used a lot of ditching dynomite,a long fuse,and a good rain coat. :-)

Depends alot on the area you're in and how many people do that type work. My X-BIL had a 3 acre pond dug out. He spent more than a new pond cost! Course they should've waited for the silt to dry some. You ever tried to dip and haul soup?
