My but it got hot on this site today! It is nice not to be the one getting the crapola for once. I like to come in and read don't post as much any more but put my 2 cents in every once in a while! It is a big family here and that is what is nice about the site! Know most of you see new people all the time. I just wanted to wish everybody a Happy Thanksgiving and Christmas is just around the corner too. Been a strange year for snow haven't realy got any yet except a dusting. We findly broke the 2 inch mark for rain this year and fire season is over and I still have my place for another year. Had Bob over from Canada great time chating in person. I do not get out much with the animals and it was nice having a visitor that I talk with by eMail all the time. I even heard from Grover not to long ago. Sorry to hear about your wife Hogman hope everything turns out OK. See Cowboy still in NY and Kraig is still running his cows. Ron PA how are you doing, yep one big internet family!! To many names to list and I know I left a lot out. I like the group and the chat. Have a good one! Mark Hendershot

That was my Nick name given to me at a get together with a bunch of guys off the N-Board for 9N, 2N, and 8N Ford Tractors. I have long hair like Willy Nelson dose and the name stuck after that. Also a lot of Marks on the board and I sell a lot of N-Ford Tractor parts on eBay. Thanks for the nice comment! Mark H.

Wishes your way too Mark. Yep, we've had a dry winter so far too - the lakes are freezing nice though - 4 to 6 inches of ice so a fella can walk around anywhere & plenty of portable fish-houses out there. You can tell who has seasonal jobs - they're baggin all the early-season walleyes :)

My 12 ac Lake is now dry for the first time and the other lakes around me are real low or dry. The ones with water are not frozen yet and in six years I have never seen this befor. I had 18 inches of Ice on my lake the first year I was here. Going to be a interesting Fire Season next year if we don't get a snow fall! Mark H.

what is your normal rain and snow fall

Willy-N    Posted 11-27-2002 at 19:35:35       [Reply]  [No Email]
Not much but it is supposed to be around 6 inches I live in a real dry area of Washington we call it a Sage Brush Step area. The snow fall is around 2-4 1/2 ft and rain is around 2 1/2 to 6 inches a year. If you go 30 miles to the west it is a lot more rain. Mark H.
