Easy Pork Chop Recipe for Dinner/Supper    Posted 12-05-2002 at 16:56:50       [Reply]  [Send Email]
This sounds odd, but if you like pork chops and spuds it's delicious.

You need a pan like a cassarole or cake pan, when you see the recipe you can figure what size you need.

Wax beans or green beans
Cream soup (mushroom, celery, chicken, what you like)
Pork Chops (enough to cover the top of the pan you use)

Preheat 400 Degrees

Peel or don't peel potatoes and slice into coins and place in pan.

Pour soup in (I mix soup with half can of water to spread around easier)

Pour beans in and mix (stir carefully/don't break up)

Salt & pepper & season any way you like

Cover potato/bean/soup mixture with pork chops about 90% at least, and pepper and salt them

Cover with foil

Cook for an hour at 375-400 then remove foil for another 15-20 minutes to brown pork chops.

Let it cool for a few minutes

We have it at least once a month...It's great. And easy. And only one pan.

Cook time will depend on how much you make. So keep an eye on it once in a while.

Thanks - we like pork chops so we'll try that! Suzn has a big box of AuGratin spud mix (from the cafe) she puts under the pork chops. That works too :)
