This was written by a black guy in Texas:

When I born, I black. When I grow up, I black. When I go in sun, I black. When I cold, I black. When I scared, I black. When I sick, I black. And when I die, I black.

You white folks...when you born, you pink. When you grow up, you white. When you go in sun, you red. When you cold, you blue. When you scared, you yellow. When you sick, you green. When you bruised, you purple. And when you die, you gray. So who you callin' colored?

I'll let you in on a little secret -- really, that's my favorite goose for the missus. For whatever reason, she hates to have me put down. by anybody. including me! so for years, whenever i felt like i had been pulling more than my share, i'd refer to myself as her "house-n_____" (slave). Well, she finally gave me a big lecture and i promised to stop. So NOW i patiently listen to her directions and say "Yow Zuh!" Stops her in her tracks and i look as innocent as possible - course we both know what i meant. heh heh
