I used coriander seed in my scrapple, didn't really know what it was so today I am making my usual winter chili, cooking 20 pounds of sausage to start so that my freezer will have a quick fix for cold lazy nights. Anyway I was going to throw in some coriander seed and I started to read about it. Some articles say it is from cilantro which I do use a lot, other articles say it has nothing to do with cilantro. It does say though that coriander seed is in the bible and is described as white manna. Anyway expert what exactly is coriander seed - Thanks

Thank you, thank you. I am going to go right now and coriander my chili. I sure do appreciate your fast response and rasberries to that "gentleman" who said this site is going downhill. Where else can we get such fast responses to questions like these, and it IS a country question, I live in the country, my house is in the country thus my kitchen is in the country so I am making country chili with a little bit of help from my friend. Thanks again!!
