What do you think of yesterdays California Federal Appeals Court ruling that people don't have the right to keep and bear arms. The Second Ammendment only applies to the Militia. This is the same court that ruled the Pledge og Allegiance unconstitutional.

Those fools just nulified the entire Constitution. If the PEOPLE don't have the right to keep and bear arms then none of the other rigts guaranteed to the PEOPLE are valid. This is what gun controll is about, trying to set a legal precident so the rest of the Bill of Rights can be undermined.

That circuit court is the single most overturned court in the nation...Tell ya anything does it?...

As my Dearly Departed Maternal Grandmother was fond of saying...This too shall pass...

The scary thing about that California bunch is that since the earthquaket they are deserting CA
in such numbers that they are upsetting the balance in places like Colorado, Idaho, etc. About
1993 the Do-gooders got a law passed outlawing the spring Bear hunt and the use of bait and dogs for bear hunting. These laws passed because so many of these CA people had fled to Colorado that they outvoted the natives.
The Wilderness Rangers warned that within two years we would start having trouble in the campgrounds. We didn't have problems in the camp where we were but in places where the wealthy live, like Snowmass it got to be common for women to find bears in their kitchens fixing themselves a snack.
You know, those things can get their claws under the edge of a window and lift ot right out of the house.
The Do-gooders don't want a nuisance bear destroyed so the Rangers trap him and move him. This puts him in another bears territory and one of them dies in the resulting fight.
As for their gun laws, 9-11 wouldn't have happeded if we had universal concealed carry like the Israelies. They haven't had a successful hijacking in 22 years. The passengers just stand up and shoot the thugs. Over here you don't bother the nice hijacker so no one will get hurt.
