What is the latest I can wait to plant corn for a deer and turkey food plot? I live in Illinois?
Thanks Mark

Just anytime real soon or you won't get much of a crop.

I'm in E. Central Illinois and if it isn't too hot and we got some ground moisture, we'll plant sweet corn clear up 'til July. If you don't already have your seed, look for a short season corn. We also plant soybeans, millet and sorghum in our wildlife plots.

You pretty wet where you're at? Heck, I haven't even got my main tomatoes and green beans out in the garden yet - rain's supposed to hold off 'til tomorrow, might almost be dry enough to till by then.
