Trip To Colorado

Hey y'all!
Hope you are all well and fine. I haven't been on for awhile, so I'm sure I've missed much news here.
Thanks to all for the Christmas Greetings! My best regards to all of you.
My son and I have made the trip to Colorado from BC. What a beautiful drive! Montana and Wyoming have stolen my cowgirl heart, but I have to say Colorado is pretty nice too......except for Denver, and no offense intended to anyone, but talk about my worst traffic nightmare! I can't believe how fast people drive through the City here. No wonder when someone crashes they take out several other drivers with them!
We saw no snow the whole way here, and it is wonderful to wake up every morning to the sun shining, and to have a pretty sunset every night.

We would like to wish y'all a very Happy Holiday Season!

Good Health and Safe Keeping to All!

You think Denver is bad, just imagine NYC.

When I first hit the heavy traffic it was before Denver. City lights as far as I could see, took me an hour to the other side. When I breathed a big sigh of relief my son started laughing at me and said Denver was still 30 miles away.
Give me a counrty dirt road any day!

I'd been thru Denver's traffic a few times and one Sunday we happened thru, sailed right thru westbound and stopped for gas before climbing the hill. I asked the guy where everybody was - (he looked like Kramer from Seinfeld) glanced at me like i was nuts and declared "Why, at the ball game!" Apparently Denver's got Broncos, Broncos got fans and that's that! So if you ever decide to steal everything in Denver, do it on Sunday afternoon. :)

Hey Deadcarp....I'll have to remember that for the trip home. I think I gained a few extra gray hairs from that traffic.

Did you come down I-90 & I-25? If so you went right by our town, Buffalo - Wyoming. Hope you liked what you saw on your trip.

Yup, that was the route of travel....395 to I-90, to I-25. I loved everything I saw. Buffalo was a real nice area. I think I just might stay awhile, (grin).
