return to this site every day if there wasn't so much humor as well as info here. Just information without a little humor would be downright BORING!! And like most of ya say you don't have to respond to every thread or even read em. Where else would I have gotten so much helpful info on goats this summer as I was starting my first herd? Books are fine, but experience is best. Mark and I enjoy reading KL together. We are country people so there!!! Rachel and Mark on Hobohill

Hi Rachel,

Regarding your comment on humor, there's a saying... "It takes intelligence to appreciate wit, humor, and satire, but none to be offended by it." ;^) I believe you're in MO too, aren't you? DISGUSTINGLY balmy weather we're having! Doesn't seem like Christmas at all. Oh well, at least the weather is a 'safe' topic to complain about. Have a good day.

Darryl

Yep, Darryl, we are having some balmy days here. makes it easier to do the feed and watering of the poultry and goats, tho. And maybe save some of the woodpile for Jan. and Feb. when I expect we'll be nostalgic for december's warm days, huh? And we reside outside of a lil town named Bourbon, Mo, which sells no hard liquor! Bout 75 miles SE of St. Louis. What part of Mo. you hail from? Rachel

Yep, patria, it sure is. One thing everyone can agree on, usually. Hey, my mom really enjoyed reading KL with me while I was out in nevada and she got a kick out of your name being Patria and hers being Patricia. Made her day at a low time. Is Patria a variation on Patricia, sounds like it may be. Rachel

Yes Mam! It's sorta like the paper. I read the articles that interest me. I don't complain to the editor because they have articles that I'm not partial to.
