My kid, i declare - we set up a room just FOR tv, so when he was little he'd get his cereal and go watch Sesame Street. EXCEPT he'd pile the empty bowls next to him. Pretty soon he's got a stack as tall as the chair he sat in. Well now he's darn near 40 and does the same thing! Is there any hope of curing this affliction?

Get the Dish network set up, works a whole bunch better.

TV Dishes?
Are those like the kind you eat off of while you're watching the game? Or are they meals that ya make so you eat them while the news is on?

Dish and Direct TV are now owned by the same company, but we've had dish for a long time, and are well satisfied

as a seller of Dish Network, I can tell you that they are NOT the same company, the goverment would NOT let them merge together.

Sorry earl, last Id ehard the merger was supposed to be a go

Direct TV has RFDtv but you have to have the dual satellite (oval) dish to receive it.Direct TV's web site or their customer service will explain it.

What's RFD ??    Posted 12-15-2002 at 11:34:32       [Reply]  [No Email]

Patria,
You'll find RFD-TV at 9409 on your guide. At least I think that's it.No way of checking since I'm using the web-tv right now. Check it out and let us know what you think.

I have the dish network dish for a long time now and didn't know you could do that with it. I'll have to give it a try.

BTW,where have you been hanging out lately? Haven't seen you here for a few days.

Hey Larry!!
How's everything in your part of the world?

I'm helping my dad on his caterings, this week we are working on the christmas party for this big company , 500 guests, for saturday. I'm doing all the decorations for the buffett line and surroundings, plus serving as the hostess and 'runner' also. I love it!

Larry    Posted 12-15-2002 at 14:19:27       [Reply]  [Send Email]

I havn't been up to much for the past four weeks since I had my shoulder surgey. Sure is a pain to have to sit around the house so much. At least I'm able to go out and look at the pigs once in awhile. Say,if you got some time, the hog floor needs a little cleaning. :-)
Have fun with your Christmas party.

Thank God you can type!!!!!

Hope you're doing better.

Just send me the plane ticket[s], I'll be there and do your hog's floor, I'll even bring some goodies for diner.

I'll leave that job up to Eli when he has a chance to do it. By the time we get you up here everything might be under a foot of snow. :-)

Don't know if it's different in your area, but DISH has the RFD-TV. We just got ours hooked up on Friday, and the big selling point for us was that we could get our local channels as part of the programming package; DirectTV didn't offer that. My husband is really enjoying catching the NFR from Las Vegas, and I'm enjoying all the HorseTV stuff on the RFD-TV and the cooking shows on the Food Channel. Love it! Why didn't we do this a long time ago? LOL
