Hey all!

I have discovered a cowgirl/cowboy's haven here in CO. I was taken to a little back street tack shop last week. The windows were so dirty I thought the building was abandoned.......but it weren't. Probley shoulda' been though. Walked in and it took a few minutes to orient myself. This little place was stacked floor to ceiling with western cowboy gear, clothes, nicnacs and general stuff. Some was so old you wouldn't believe it, and some wasn't even out of the packaging yet. You couldn't even walk through the place with stepping on stuff. Bridles, clothes, reins, blankets, everything you can imagine to do with horses and western lifestyle was just everywhere, strewn about. It looked like a couple of semi loads of stuff had exploded in that little shop. The proprieter was a little ol' lady, who swore she knew where absolutely everything was in the place, just ask, and she could tell ya.
Had a great time looking at stuff, I'll have to go back a couple of more times and dig up a few bargains. I'm sure the price tags on the stuff at the bottom of the piles have never been changed since they was first priced.
Sure was a head shaker in there!

It is in Colorado Springs, it's called "Donna's Brok'n Spoke Western Shop", 2345 E Boulder.

I am loving the sun, that's for sure!!! BC gets it's share, but there hasn't been a cloudy day here yet in two weeks.

We're about an hour north east of the Springs. Have you been to the Manitou Cliff Dwellings yet? Pretty cool!

Don't forget the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame!

Not yet. We drove up through Vickers and Cripple Creek last weekend. Took a dirt road through the mountains and made a loop. Just getting started on the sight seeing. Garden of the Gods is next I think. I am heading back to Old Colorado City for some shopping, that was a neat area to drive through. Also drove past the Broadmoore Hotel, not a place I belong!! :)
Rodeo Hall of Fame is also on the list, and of course, my son has to see the Airforce bases as well.

I don't like a hearing about a girl shopping in a place like that, right after she asks about wedding plans. I can just imagine coming out with a set of blinders and reigns that will just fit the groom!! LOL!!!
Glad you're having a good time

Actually Ron, I was too overwelmed to buy anything....but now that you mention it, I think I'll go back there!
Thanks! Having a great time!
