Im going to plant corn for a turkey and deer food plot and I was wondering if I could plant the rows 24" apart or should I go 30"? Im going to leave the corn stand until spring and then Ill mow it down. Im cultivating for weeds.

Mark- Suggest one row in Maine and the Maritime Provinces and another in British Columbia. Please do what you can to get them #$%^& deer and related car crashes away from Iowa!

The wild turkeys are OK, they work like two legged roto tillers around here. Grins, IHank

How are you cultivateing for weeds?? With a tractor?? If so, the wheel spaceing, and tire size on your tractor will determine the best row spaceing. Planting closer, will help keep the weeds out.
