Hello folks!

The new year is almost there, and you know what that means... we will be vowing to lose weight, stop smoking [grin], stick to a budget, save money, find a better job[scarry], become more organized, hehe, exercise more, oopps, be more patient [yeah right], eat better, and who knows what else.

It also and inevitably brings thoughts about change, fears as well as hopes for the future.
Most of us have been there, done that...right?

At least that's what I would rather believe; there's a lot that I haven't done yet, and I'm seating here reflecting on what's happened and what one hopes will happen in the future.

PS: Last month I promised my daughter to make her a dress for tomorrow's party, so I'm heading for the sewing machine right now..gotta start it sometime..she's gonna be the woman in red.

I make resolutions but not at new years. Better to make them when things happen - like funerals, weddings, bonuses, moving or something i can do something about.

I only knew one couple who kept resolutions religiously - they were engaged for 6 years while he was in the service and til they both finished college - to me that much planning makes for a boring life - New Years Resolutions are good brain exercise though - why not plan the whole year? :)
