Hoosier Cabinet

Have a hoosier type kitchen cabinet that has no identifying markings other than a door card. The door card is a type of shopping list but the header shows "KNECHTEL'S KITCHEN KABINET" in bold print.
Any clues or direction as to the history of this company?

The link below is to Kennedy hardware. They are probably the world's experts on Hoosiers. "The Book" on Hoosier cabinets was written by the founders.

I'll bet they can give you all the info you want, as well as sell you any parts you want for restoration, if you choose to do that. Their catalog is neat.

Do a Google search for The Knechtel Furniture Company Ltd., of Hanover, 'Bruce County' Ontario Canada...

Think that was/is the company you are looking for...
