Hot Water Filters, Where to get?
[Return to Topics]

Is there a place that sells hot water filters?
I have black water in my lines due to sulpher/iron
reactions. I cut my main copper pipes to add in a
bathroom and discovered black sludge in my hot
copper main.

I know the remedy for this but don't have the time to do it. Meanwhile before I get around to
fixing the main problem, I'd like to put a filter in the hot line but the ones available are the cold water rainfresh and others.

Thanks.

just a thought. if your hot water lines have gunk in them, it would seem that the water heater would also be full of gunk. use a cold filter to protect the whole system.
