Is it Spring Already?

Here I am in Central Michigan - low temperatures flirting with 0 and highs in the teens. The calendar is stuck on January. Yesterday there was a ROBIN hopping around on wife's mini-van. Today he was out in the apple tree in the front yard. First ROBIN of the season, must be spring!
(Hope those trees don't start leaving out!)

No robins yet we're about 10 below but a nice breeze pegs it around 40 below. Unless the pipes freeze tonite, i'm hooking up my handy-dandy hot water booster to the cold water lines tonite. What the heck - lot cheaper than busted pipes and portable welders :)

Well I've seen robins, too and your weather is mild compared to what we're having.
Red winged blackbirds are a much better sign of spring arriving.
