went out this moring and found my lil dorset mix layin on her side, she couldnt hardly move and was making bubbling noises,,got her up but she couldnt stand, so I grabbed her up and brought her in the house, I gave her a good shot of pennicilin and kept her warm, but it wasnt helping, I am a EMT so I started rummaging in my bag and came up with a tube of Glucose (rescue sugar) so I figured a good squirt would give her some fast energy,, gave her most of the tube and she perked up, kept her in for the day until she started butting the dogs and now she is back out in the barn with the Churros, so I think she will be fine,,,amazing what a lil burst of energy can do,,I have used sugar water mixed with powdered milk on lil goats with great success so maybe this will help someone else,,,,JIm
