I am looking for a one or two row corn picker in or around NC. Does anybody know where I can find one and which brand is more desirable and maybe the easiest to work on. Thanks for any help you can be.
Donnie,

We have a real good ford one row mounted if you would be interested.

Hi Donnie,
Here in central PA. we have a lot of new idea, 1 and 2 row pickers. We keep one of each here on the farm for picking our ear corn. My #7 works like a charm, however they are a low rpm machine so don't get in a hurry with them and they will do a great job.
I can't help you locate one, but I hope you find what you want
Later
Ron

Check the classified ads at the link. The same site (hosted by the same fine folks that bring you this site) has a Photo Ad link with an Implements category that sometimes lists pickers.

As far as which picker, it seems to me like there's a LOT of New Idea one-row pickers out there, followed by John Deere and IH units. I have no direct experience with any of them, just reporting what I've seen in the ads.
