Looking for any ideas on how to get rid of the little buggers once they are under your skin digging in. Also any ideas on how to lessen the heal up time of tick bites once you have removed them. Redbugs are also known as chiggers. Thanks.

We used to get those darn chiggers at my Grandpa's cabin in Virginia. If we scrubbed ourselves once or twice with a bar of brown laundry soap (Octagon was the brand we had), that did the trick.

Mike, your post reminds me of a funny story I heard years ago. A guy said to his friend, "What's good for crabs"? His friend replied, "Why, Blue Ointment is good for crabs". The guy responded saying, "That's not good for em', that'll kill em".

Mike, for chiggers, apply clear fingernail polish. For tick bites, PRAY!
