This is a good site and thought I would pass it along to everyone. Now if someone could educate me on how to make a hyper-link...... yes, there ARE two m's! :-)

Juliana, I went to the site and I don't see the vet. portion, I do see the human book.
For years I carried the Merck Poultry health manual, and it was an excellent resource, It was however "Merck specific" when it came to treatment. That was not a real problem as drugs is drugs, and if there was an alternative or option it was a common knowledge sub.
I still have a few of the old Merck manuals, and would love to be able to access this material online, so if there is a Vet's manual online please post the url so that 'puter dummies like me can find it,, LOL

Ron, there is a total vet manual online at that site. Just go to the top of the main page and use the pointer to access the pull down info. There you see the Total Vet. Manual. Or try this (copy and paste)
Still working on learning the hyperlinks folks!

Juliana, On this forum it's real easy...scroll down just below the box that you type your message into. There is a box titled "Optional Link URL" paste the adderss in there and in the next box type the title to your link that you want displayed. (URL is computer geek for webpage address.)

Hi Juliana - here's a page that show all kinds of tricks, including links :)

Juliana, open your Favorite Places, where you have this link saved. Left click once on the link you want to send, just to highlight it. Click on Edit at the bottom of Favorite Places. This will bring up the menu with the name of the site and under that the URL. Highlight the whole line for the URL. Either go hit Edit at the top of your AOL screen or just click Control C (for copy). Then find the line under the comments box on this or whatever board you are posting to that says, "Optional Link URL." Left click on it once. Then hit Control V (which means paste). The URL should appear in that box. Then you just type in what you want for the Link Title and you now have made a hyper-link. :)

Now, it's either all that or you can just type the whole thing in by hand in that Optional Link URL box, but you gotta add the http:// part at the first or it won't work. The first way I told you about will do it automatically.
Hope all that was clear? LOL! :)

Maggie, I did what you said, but is never became a hyperlink. I tried dragging it from Favorite Places to the letter, no go. I tried the copy and paste and that didn't go either. I'm now convinced it's the computer and NOT me! LOL!
