This is a sad day for all. I realy do not know what to say. I pray for all involved it will take a long time for the USA to re-coup from this disaster. Mark H.

Yes it is truly sad, my heart and prayers go out to the families of all involved, but I noticed yesterday in the little streaming ticker type thing at the bottom of the t.v. screen that there are still people on that Inter. Space Station and they have supplies to last til June, somebody's gotta go back and get them or take supplies I was just wondering if it would be U.S. or Russia?

We still have more Shuttles that can fly. I do not think they will use the escape modual to come back because they would have to get another one up there to use the Station again. It is for emergencys use. There has been a lot of miles and missions flown by the Shuttles and sometimes things happen. They will figure this accident out and they will be launched once again. Mark H.

Yeah I knew about the other shuttles but they kept talking about about how long it took to get back in space after the Challenger, something like 2 years, and all the other shuttles are grounded til they find out what happened to Columbia, but also heard yesterday Russia launched an un-manned shuttle to take supplies to the space station.

I give them less then 6 months and they will be back up there again. This will not stop the Shuttle Program to much money involved for them to close the program now. It may be phased out for a better way later to do it. Mark H.

Yup, that will stop everything til the economy gets healed. Shame we needed the excuse but it seems like we did .....

I am still upset about it. As I look out at the clear blue sky above our place I can't help but think how quick things can change. Mark H.
