As Salmoneye said, Aladdin mantles are readily available, as are Coleman.

I just got a 1920s Sears table lamp that the instructions said to run on regular automobile gas...and it uses the same Coleman mantles you get today (of course, it was made for Sears by Coleman).

I'll check this weekend to see what brand of lantern they are. Thanks!

There were a few different lamps I know of that had incandescent 'mantles' such as those found on a Coleman Lantern or for use with gas lights...The ones I know of are the classic Aladdin of course...Then there are Wanzer and Montgomery Ward...I am sure there were others...

All Aladdin Mantles and wicks are readily available...The others I am not sure of, but could find out if I knew what I was looking for...

You can get almost any lantern wick that was ever made if you watch ebay auctions under lanterns and railroad memorabelia
