I *do* covet the darn things. I can't understand why everyone doesn't have at least one of their own--they are great in an emergency, and they are nice to just light and have dinner by (what a Valentine's Day thought!).

The link below is one collector's site with a lot of great pictures of their collection...and yes, I want one of each!

I am one of the people that collectors love...I am a 'picker'...I find them for cheap and then sell em at the local flea or on eBay...I usually only keep them a few months at the outside...They are just worth too much for me to justify keeping...

I have about 30 lamps and lanterns here...The only lamps I keep are ones that have flaws like cracks, chips or dents which greatly diminish the resale value...I have one perfect piece...It is a Dietz 39 RR Gate Lantern with red globe...$5 at a lawn sale...That one is staying...

My main 'users' are Rayos...I have 4 complete and one waiting for a gallery and flame spreader...They are not as bright as an Aladdin due to no mantle of course...They are however IMHO one of the best wick lamps ever designed...

I love Kero toys...
