just heard a rumor. don't have any idea if this is true or not but it's pretty creepy. heard that the gov't has been watching 3 large ocean going vessles for the past several months. seems they suspect these ships could be carrying hussein's
cache of weapons. supposedly set sail before inspectors went in and have been sailing aimlessly going everywhere and nowhere. greg

They left in November, just before the inspectors arrived.Been sailing in circles in the Indian Ocean, fuel and provisions delivered at sea.
Probably trying to get back to Germany and France to return the cargo and get a refund on the oil they used as payment.
Don't expact Dan Blather to give much air time to this story, unless Fox runs it and He has to cover it up.
We may be jumping to conclusions, probably just another Iraqi baby food factory.

Well then international law should permit the ships be boarded and inpsected, then sunk if they resist

According to 'Janes', the US and Brits are afraid of the consequences of boarding...They are proceeding under the assumption that the Captains will scuttle the ships causing serious ecological damage...

I do agree with you however...

two ships spoted of the coast of british columbia , locals have seen them out quite far and in the fog but so far the U S or canadian coast guard haven,t been able to find them , they don,t think they are smuggling people as the ships are much larger that what the smugglers use , they been looking for a couple of days now
