Your perfectly welcome Donna. How exciting for you to be going to the country from a life in the city.

I did the opposite, grew up in the country, moved to the city for my job, but bought a little place on the outskirts of town that still felt a little like country in California. Now we're literally being choked out by developers and working on getting back to the sticks. Have 9+ acres in Western Washington that is as far from nowhere as we can get that, God willing, we'll see our way clear to move there soon. It's much smaller then the 100+ acres that I grew up on, but at this stage in my life it's plenty for me and hubby.

In the beginning, your probably going to feel overwhelmed with your new way of life, but I guarantee your going to love it. Don't hesitate to ask questions, even if you think they are dumb. Everybody in here is full of wisdom and very helpful. I look forward to hearing your stories, and celebrating your accomplishments.
