Believe it or not you can use Liquid Nails or a similar constuction adhesive to secure the ceramic tile. Put a good dab of glue on the center of the tile. Place it where you want it, then tape it in place. Use enough tape to keep it from sagging until the glue sets up. Let it set up over night. Peel the tape off carefully. Presto.

Silicone caulk will work too, but it smells like dirty socks until it drys.
