Chicken waterer?

Has anybody made a automatic refill chicken waterer. I know they sell them but I like making my own and saving a few bucks when possible. I would have to run it off a tub/barrel of water, not from a pressurized water source. Just got done making a chicken feeder from 4" sewer & drain pipe. Works great. Keeps the chickens supplied for weeks with clean feed. Cost under $5.00 each to make and holds more than the $25.00 dollar feeder from the store.

Can you tell us how you made the chicken feeder?

Can you give specifics about how you built your "auto feeder"? I'd like to do the same.

Thanks!

with a little imagination, you will be able to make a waterer just about like the feeder. The problem being finding a lid that fits tight enough but is still pretty easy to take off.
