My beef with the immigration is they get a seven year tax break paying no income tax. They get free health care or pay very little (a dollar for meds ect). On the other hand I know people around here getting the same thing fully able to work on disability and medicare. My wife and I both lost our jobs 2 years ago due to a sell out netting several people millions while hundreds were put out of work. Our income was cut about 40 thousand per year and now tax time is coming around and we have to pay tax on the unemployment checks my wife drew. I luckly only drew 2 checks. She doesn't have health insurance now because the company I work for has insurance that cost about $585.00 per month to put her on it. Oh we could lie say we were seperated and she could get the free stuff but we believe it would come back and bite us. It's bad when our country caters to aliens and don't do anything for us born and bred. But putting all belly aching aside we will survive and be back on top soon.

When I lived in CA about 10 years ago I lost all my money. Hard to live for quite a while. Was real hard for me to watch all these people with addictions getting if I'm not mistaken $686 per month. I got $0, but then again I never drank, smoked or did drugs. I just didn't get it.

Believe me, I know what you mean, It makes me sick to go to the bank the first of the month and see all the welfare and govt checks being cashed with my tax money. I know some people are down on there luck but 80% make a living out of sitting on their ass. If I ran for president, I'd befor giving this country back to the american people and waving taxes and pollution laws to big industry so we can once again supply jobs to a sagging economy. Develop our own fuel (ethanol) and mandate auto industry to use it. And tell Oil countries to kiss me fat YOU KNOW WHAT. Can you imagine where their economy would go if they couldnt sell oil to us, how would they buy weapons- THINK ABOUT IT. Joe

You have every right to get your checks and more! I hope they have a little left for me in 10 1/2 years. I am going to start collecting mine at 62 that I paid into. I paid both halfs being self employed too! I just want to make sure I get a couple of checks befor I "check out" since I have only collected 2 weeks of unemployment in my life! That was when I got out of the service and was tring to figure what I was going to do and re adjusting to civilian life after 3 years of doing it different. Paid a lot into the system tho! I do have a problem with a couple of healthy neibors getting there checks early faking back problems yet they can out work me any day cutting wood and selling it on the side. My back is to wore out for that working most of my life for a living. Mark H.
