I took this picture this morning on Rte 109 in Moultonboro, NH. This was about half the flock.

Your picture reminded me. We moved to our house in the country in the month of April. Sunday night we dragged the last of our stuff and our tired old behinds in the house. The next morning at 6:oo a.m. I was driving the kids to their first day of school, it was foggy and so was my brain. I'm going down the road and out of the corner of my eye I see this mass of dark shapes come out of a grove and right in front of the car. I stood on the brake and turned the vehicle sideways in the middle of the damp pavement.

'Aww...what'd you do that for?' Jake said "We coulda had turkey for supper.'

'Is that what that was?!' My mouth was hanging open and I was shaking. I finally saw them, there had to be ten or twelve of them. I thought I was being attacked by something. It was the middle of turkey season and these babies were running for their lives.
