The poem I wrote this morning, Hooray for March

Maybe some of you share my sentiments today?

Outside, it looks like winter time, the same as yesterday.
According to the weatherman, more snow could come our way.
But as I turn the calendar, I do not feel so glum:
Life looks so much better, now that March has finally come!

Propane is expensive. There are two bills I've not paid.
Our tax refund should come today: if so, we'll have it made!
But even if it doesn't show, I'll face the day with cheer,
Full-knowing spring is coming, now that March is finally here.

It's been a long, hard winter. I'm so glad it's almost done.
Snow, and cold, and icicles have finished being fun.
We'll soon be planting gardens, knowing wintertime is past.
I think that I can make it, knowing March is here at last!

A tractor swap-meet's coming, only three weeks down the line.
Once the tractor shows begin, we'll handle things just fine.
We'll hitch up to the camper, hit the road, and have some fun:
We've endless possiblities, with February done!

Donna, if I may I would like to refer you to a place where you may be able to get paid for these poems. They are very good. Please e mail me if you're interested.

There are only 20 shopping days left before Fish Shooting Season, so lets stock up on full-metal-jacket ammo for your favourite fish gun!

PS...Nice Poem!

Great! My father would have loved that one.
