WALLA WALLA, WASHINGTON

I will be completing my four years at Ventura College and after Christmas there abouts, I will be getting ready to return to Washington where I have family and was raised. I already have a job doing office type work at my sister's church in Walla Walla. I hear so much about the Walla Walla onions are they as good as their reputation?

Also, I want the locals to feel at ease and not fear me. I am not a land grabber, politician moving in trying to change things or destroy the beautiful farmlands surrounding the town of Walla Walla. Give me a chance and get to know me at your own pace. You will see I am as rural as you are and am a kind, gentle, simple quiet country girl through and through. I love and believe in God and read my bible everyday. I am not rich nor desire to be rich. My contentment comes from my faith in God, not money or material things.Come on over and have a cup of coffee with me bring the kids, the dogs.Teach me about country cooking and country life.I will also say "Hello" if I see

Just be the sort of person you'd like to have for a neighbor yourself. You sound like a fine person who already has the right small-town spirit, and I'll bet you do great.

Im a true country boy in every sense but still would like to one day see california, just to say that ive ventured there into the unknown. You might miss your two seasons in california when you hit our northern winters.

I didn't mean to be rude over in the other forum, and I apologize if it came across that way. You sound nice, I'm sure you'll do well with your new neighbors. While you are getting to know them keep in mind what you have probably read somewhere: "as ye sow, so shall ye reap".

I hope to sow friends so I will reap my friendship, but will take my time about it. My door will be open, I will put the coffee on,but I hope my new neighbors will teach me about country cooking and gardening. This something I have never been taught, but eager to learn. I am not one to take and not give. I want my neighbors to tell me how I can be of help in return. I hope my neighbors love to hug, but again won't hug unless they ask me, first.
