Ketosis in pregnant goats

Hey, I need some info. Our La Mancha doe is due any day now. Milk is leaking, all other signs are there. But, she went off her feed and wouldn't get to her feet today. Called the vet and brought her in. He diagnosed ketosis. Said it was brought on by her carrying twins and the strain on her system. I would kind of like to know how this could affect her kids and her kidding. And will she be prone to this every pregnancy. She's on proplene glycol 2x a day. But, he says if she doesn't get better in a few days, he will have to induce her labor. Big expense we can't afford. Anyone with any answers, I'd appreciate it! Thanks, Rachel

Twins are about the norm even triplets so I dont think this is a strain. Dont know ketosis. If you do a search for goat911 there are a lot of professional volunteers there with the answers.
