First of all, please let me apologize for the pepsi thing. It was inexcusable. What a dope. I should never have posted that without researching it first. Thank you Fawteen for catching that.

Nobody here has done or said anything unfair to me. While some of you are enjoying the controversy, the heated banter, and the subjects with a little more 'meat' on them, others are cringing from the arguments and are shaken by seeing people they have come to know and care for trading insults or feeling insulted or being confronted. That's what's causing the tension.

As to why I do this, it is truly innocent. I wonder, wonder, wonder, what people think. Maybe I missed my calling, maybe there's a place for someone like me who is honestly curious about what the world thinks.

If I'm going to be one of those people tho, I know I have to be prepared to take the good with the bad. Some folks can do just fine, and go along very happily not being stumulated to think about or defend their position on things. They do not enjoy being challenged in their beleifs.

Then you have the folks who want to declare from the roof tops what they think about certain issues. They are unshakable and stand firm and refuse to give an inch and will happily argue it to the nth inch. It's just the difference in people.

I know that when I post certain subjects some folks are going to want to HIT ME! Lol! That's okay, I expect it and it's fair. Then there are the others who are going to grab the baton, run with it for awhile and drop it, where it will be picked up yet again by someone else who wants to be heard.

I really am quite comfortable with being on either end of the response scale. I am not so naiive that I expect everyone to see things the way that I do. I do not feel threatened or picked on. I evaluate comments made to me logically, based on the content and just go on.

I only recognize and pay attention to true constructive critisism and I can handle it. But regardless of what happens it's all normal. People's reactions are grounded in their beleifs and thats what it's all about. Everything is fine....just fine.

One thing you will always get from me is an honest answer to whatever question you ask. Might be different than yours but will be the truth or at least my truth. I'm a big believer in if you want to know something then ask. And very interesting what 2 people think on the same subject.

It rather comforting to see that someone else thinks along the same line as you do.I like to see once in awhile that I'm not the only one on the same wave length. Also if you take the time to ask a question its always good to listen to the answer.Alot of people dont.Bummer if they would only listen and maby they would learn.I learn somthing new every day and will till I depart this good earth.

My dad instilled in me a hunger for learning that I could never get from any school. I ask questions constantly. I may not retain everything as well as I used to but I still enjoy asking and getting the answers. I don't think I'll ever stop asking questions.

Yankee, here's something for you. The band Iron Butterfly had a song, Ina godda da vida. It was either 17 minutes and 5 seconds long or 17 minutes and 20 seconds long. You learned something else! Have a good night, getting late here!
