I raise miniature bantam chickens and some are 6-7 years old, some of the chicken toenails are curling under can i clip them with dog toenail clippers?

Dog toenail clippers sound like a good idea. If the nails are translucent, and you see a pinkish color near the toe, be careful to clip beyond that coloring to avoid bleeding.

We got some chickens once from a poultry farm and they had toenails three or four inches long. Clipped them with metal snips. Once they got to where they could scratch the ground, we didn't have to do it anymore. Probably could do it with a sturdy pair of scissors.
