Seen my first robin this morning at breakfast
That must mean spring has sprung even though we
have a foot of snow in the fields . No bare ground at all yet maybe later this week .
Went right in and shaved off my winter beard
came out and said to my wife does my teeth look
white enough she looked said yea , are you sure ?
yes > why ? Just wondering . pretty soon she says shaved off you beard huh?
Dead carp ,
I seen your rope maker while doing a
search but had this one with a lawn mower in
my mind so made it . It's working great I started with 36' and end up with 30' on what I made I lost 6' Each time about .
My one barn is 70' long so when I clear out a path I'll try longer ones .Have to put a stand in the middle to hold it up . Made a swivel hook and with the cone I can do it my self twist it
put the cone in and take my battery drill and
spin the swivel and keep moving the cone . I put a cable thru a pulley to a weight to hook the swivel to That keeps it tight and lets it move .

Our robins showed up a few weeks ago.

Last night another of my favorite signs of spring showed up: spring peepers started singing for the first time, right on schedule. Spring ain't far behind!
