Made it through the whole trail ride with no accidents. We had a pretty good time even though we did get rained on friday. and it got COLD. Everyone was ready for rain but not the cold. I rode Willie the one day with no problems. He did stumble a few times when we went over a couple of "hills" in the road that were like speed bumps. I don't think he pays attention to his walking. I gave him the next day off since he hasn't been rode in awhile but my b/f rode him saturday in the parade. I wasn't going to ride him myself in a parade since that was new to him. Too much stuff going and too many people to fall in front of. lol. He acted up but not too bad considering it was his first parade. But my b/f had more problems with him when he rode around camp to warm up. I didn't have no problem with him. But then again Willie is very sensitive to what your legs and everything else is doing. it don't take much to get him to do something and I think my b/f is used to riding his "dead" horse that isn't trained to all that. Anyways...we may be riding inthe Dogwood Parade again next saturday since we were invited back. If I decide to miss the trail ride that day that I really wanted to go. Anyways, gonna go give the horses a treat and get back in here and hook up the new surround sound system we got. byeee....

Felt great riding Willie again. After I got over being scared. He was actually more comfortable than the horse I ride all the time. My back didn't start hurting. He actually walks. The other horse has to do his little prance all day. If I let him just walk we would still be out there somewhere he walks so slow. lol. Another trail ride this weekend. I think I'll probably take Willie again. Its nice having a choice of horses to ride now. Just wish Wiliie wasn't so tall. Hard to get on for short little me. lol. IF I can get him to let me ride up to wagons for a refill or throw my empty in a trash bag like my other horse he'll be alright. He's still scared of that but he'll learn. At least I didn't get thrown trying this time around. lol.
