Mechanical chicken pluckers
[Return to Topics]

I've seen some table-top chicken pluckers in catalogs. Seems they run around $300-$500.

Anybody out there have one, or have used one?
Are they any good or are they one of those cases where running and cleanup of the machine is harder than just doing the job by hand?

thanks,
Tom

I have one and it works great.. cleanup is easy

I just hose it down and then dissinfect with javex

before putting away...I loose a few rubber fingers

now and then but they are only worth a buck or two.

Where can you buy these fingers or parts in Manitoba?

we have approximately 200 free range chickens and often butcher our own chickens. Recently a friend let us borrow his chicken plucker which was manufactured by your company. We thought it worked wonderfully. We are interested in seeing a catalog or having an website we can visit for this. please e mail us with your response.
