NEED Rain!!!!!!!!!!

Hey everybody,
Can somebody send us some rain! We don't want no bad weather, just some much needed rain!! We live in north central TX and have missed all of the rain that has been coming our way over the past 3 or 4 weeks. Everything just seems to be splitting and going around us. WE need a good rain in our area. None of my hay has even sprouted yet. WE keep getting tempted with rain and then teased with a real small shower but it won't even make mud. We can sure use your prayers, not only for us needing rain but also for those who have suffered damage due to the bad weather that has been in there area.
Thanks!
Gary

I got stationed at Fort Hood while the area was in a long long bad drought.

But once I got there, the first time and every time that I went out to the field it rained. I think it was May of 1980 it rained 23 days straight...cuz I was in the field on a big exercise (I saw 'em have to get a tank crew out of their tank by helicopter cuz it was sinking in the mud).

So, if y'all will pay my way I'll be happy to go visit and camp out there for a few days! :-)

Hey Gary, I feel for ya.

Last 3 years we've had serious drought, just like you. See clouds on the horizon, could almost feel the rain, and then nothing. Wells going dry, no honey, no hay.

Now, starting in about November, it hasn't stopped. We got deluged with rain and snow, and seems like almost everyday it is doing something. We just got 0.4" in 10 minutes a little while ago! I hate to complain about it, but I've got fields I could be mowing right now except it wouldn't dry...and the only garden I've managed to get in is onions.

Oh well, I guess that's what makes all this country living so interesting.

I'll pray you get some of this rain!
Tom
