this is our forth year and we have had great success. but every year we just don't know when to quit cutting. any suggestions. i am afraid one of these years we might cut too late into summer and lose it all thanks in advance gene n ky

Just saw something on TV about this today. Seems like it went like this: 0-2-4-6-8. First year- nothing, 2d yr. cut for 2weeks, and so on. But when the spears get about the size of a pencil it is time to quit picking regardless.
