Welcome to the site! The people here do have alote of advice. Keep in mind if you have trouble finding an answer on somthing be sure to check the archives. There is a ton of info back there on questions people asked in the past. Enjoy

I know, it is the best site, isn't it. These people are all friendly and knowledgeable, and share their thoughts and lives with all of us, and I am one of the new ones myself, so welcome to the country! :)

Somewhat new myself to the site. Lots of information here. Folks are please to share their hard earned info. These folks are 'givers', not 'takers'- rare breed indeed now-a-days.

Like one retired ball player said, "There's a time to making money and a time for making a difference". Only we're not as wealthy as him. At's okay, what we lack in money we exceed in advice (which, if it was any good, we wouldn't lack in money i guess :)

In my case, i'll tell you a story - When i started working at Boeing years ago, there was an old guy told me "It took me 30 years to learn this trade and you young whippersnappers expect me to give it away like that?" I was a bit upset with him but took time to think about that - finally decided i darn sure don't want anybody thinking about me the way i thought about him, so whatever i learn is gonna be free! Been giving it away ever since :)

I have 'unusual' skills in my field. A person told me 'knowledge is power, use it to your advantage'. The word that came to me I did not share was 'we are here to share, not abuse'.
